List of Rise’s Sub-Processors
To help provide our services, Rise uses a number of sub-processors. The type of data that sub-processors have access to is limited to only what is reasonably necessary to perform the service provided.
This page provides an up-to-date list of the names and locations of the sub-processors that Rise engages that process personal data of visitors and users of Rise’s users (“Users-of-Users”) websites or services.
Personal data of Users-of-Users that you submit to Rise or may otherwise be processed by Rise on your behalf (“Users-of-Users Information”) is initially processed by Rise.ai E-commerce Solutions Ltd. (Israel), and may then be transferred to another Rise affiliate, Wix.com Ltd, for storage and, as necessary, to provide our services. These transfers are covered by an intra-company Data Processing Agreement, which puts in place appropriate safeguards as required to ensure that cross-border transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws such as, for instance, the EU’s GDPR.
Rise also uses certain third-party sub-processors to provide its services. A third-party sub-processor is a data processor engaged by Rise who agrees to receive Users-of-Users Information from Rise for the purpose of conducting processing activities to be carried out (1) on behalf of Rise Users and (2) in accordance with Rise Users’ instructions as communicated by Rise.
Prior to engaging with a sub-processor, Rise conducts appropriate due diligence, which includes security and legal analysis. Each sub-processor enters into a written contract with Rise that enforces compliance with applicable data protection laws. Cross-border transfers are conducted under applicable approved mechanisms (together with additional measures, where required) to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, all as detailed in our Data Processing Addendum for Users, available at: https://rise.ai/data-processing-addendum/.
